  • The Vietnamese education system is set to undergo a transformation in 2025, with the Ministry of Education and Training focused on optimizing its structure and enhancing management across all levels of the education system.
  • As per the announcement by the Board of Investments, the government aims to attract international colleges and universities to establish their branches in the Philippines by giving incentives to these foreign higher education institutions (FHEIs).
  • UNESCO launched 40 smart classrooms to enhance the education of 3,000 girls in Pakistan.
  • Thailand announces updates to its visa rules to attract more skilled professionals, investors, and affluent foreigners, and make it easier for them to secure long-term residency permits.
  • Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education announced the introduction of a new, centralised system to streamline admissions for international students in the country.

  • The University of Exeter is establishing a branch campus in Egypt.
