As we close the chapter on 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been one of the most disruptive years in our industry’s history. The significant policy changes in Canada & US particularly the study permit caps, stricter visa regime, and evolving rules around post-graduation work permits created unprecedented challenges for all our partner institutions. These shifts led to a sharp decline in new international student arrivals, forcing us to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing landscape. Despite these headwinds, you rose to the occasion with remarkable resilience, pivoting strategies, supporting our partners, and maintaining our commitment to connecting students with life-changing educational opportunities. Your perseverance and dedication have been the cornerstone that kept us steady through this turbulence. I am deeply grateful for each one of you.
Looking ahead to 2026, we know the environment will remain challenging, with continued emphasis on sustainability in international education and potentially further adjustments in key markets. To thrive, we must be more aggressive in exploring new destinations, forging innovative partnerships, and delivering unparalleled value to our students and institutions. Innovation will be our edge whether through digital tools, diversified offerings, or creative counseling approaches. At the same time, I urge you to prioritize your health and family; burnout serves no one, and a balanced life fuels the creativity and energy we need to succeed.
As we step into the new year, I am optimistic about our future together. With your talent and spirit, we will not only navigate these challenges but emerge stronger and more impactful.
